Hot water bottles- the cure for winter blues!

To this day.. a forever winter 'firelight' for me is climbing into bed at night, digging down to a warm, footstool magnet. The good old hot water bottle! It has never failed it’s clever invention! An instant comfort that tingles through your body like a warm cup of sunshine. Ahhhhh! Another favourite winter grab for me is my knitted blanket( pictured below) and if you’d love one too, we are having Winter markets-

‘exclusive’ to Oura (on a cold day in July…..temperature decided already).

My dear, creative friend makes these “bohemian” cuddly comforts. And let me tell you, they are worth their weight in gold and are made with absolute love!

Warmth is sunshine and sunshine is happiness.

Winter in Wagga can often be grey and foggy. By the time the fog lifts, it's dullness sets back in, then we kiss the day goodnight. It's a bonus if there is a frost covering, meaning that the day will sparkle without the cloud. A great day had is when the bed sheets can get washed- dried and reapplied. Yay, to cold weather challenges!

My idea is to ice-block those blue moods and play eye-spy the pink and yellow!

In this photo, my girls watched a mousy little wallaby watch them back - just a metre in front, with baby in her pouch. Heartwarming. ❤️
